The only thing missing for me is daylight racing, I find night driving
painfull for my eyes!!!
The game is enjoyable thought I can't say more than Most Wanted, yes the
wingman is more a problem than a help and I hate it too when sometimes he
steals your win
As for camera changes, look behind, etc. I think that if in keyboard
settings you set up a number for those features they should work with your
controller.
I connected my controllor after launching the game once and some of the
buttons where "misplaced" so instead of having my setted "nitro" I had "look
behind".
The biggest minus is the wingman -

In the last section, you're stuck with a Tier 2 car against Tier 3 cars.
By using speedbreaker for the tighter turns, and NOS on the straigts,
you can win outright, but the final wingman you get is a drafter with
a tier 3 car which can help. >> Stay informed about: Carbon? More like ash so far.... |

<snip>
Thanks xms & Jeff. I have played for another 6 hours or so and am getting
slightly less annoyed with the game although I wish I didn't have to keep
playing the 'starter' circuits to keep control off an area. The wingman
still p***es me off but I've learned to ignore him/her, unless they get in
my way!! If I do need the wingman in the later sections then I guess I just
need to put up with it.
Do either of you have any comments on the length and frequency of video
clips in the game? That is what I meant by slowing the game down - they
mostly have nothing to do with gameplay and the time delay before you can
'enter' out of them is ridiculous IMO.
I'm playing on a fairy low spec machine so don't have all the graphics set
to the highest when racing. Have you made any movies yet Jeff so I can have
a look at what they could look like? I was not particularly impressed with
them when I turned all the settings up full just to have a look in free
roam. The bacgrounds are great but the cars seem poor compared with NFSMW.
Cheers
