I'm looking for help trying to reload a saved flight in Captain Sim's
757 Captain for FSX.
From what I've seen so far, this sim is very impressive. However, I've
found that I cannot reload a saved flight successfully. When I try, all
of the instruments in the overhead come up in their 'off' state,
including the IRS which comes up in 'fault' mode and cannot be re-set.
It is also not possible to re-activate the auto-pilot or yaw damper
switches. The IRS problem especially is a show-stopper as far as the
flight is concerned, since there is no way to get flight guidance back
on the PFD without first initializing the IRS.
In other words, no matter how hard I try, I cannot get the aircraft
re-configured into a state that will allow me to resume the flight.
I've had a ticket open on this with Captain Sim for the last month or
so. They've forwarded it to their development team, but I have not heard
anything since. I just thought I'd try here while waiting.
So, has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, can you offer
any suggestions?
Thanks for any help.
