Civ4 patch & Gunships - Just noticed that since the Patch Gunships now use Looks like they are a useful unit now they can actually bet to the battle!

Worlds & maps in Civ4 - The main complaint i have re Civ4 and Warlords is the feeling that the space available is less. You never gat huge plains or deserts or very large Mountain ranges. How do you get a map that has both and islands? Any ideas about this ? cheers..

Yes, unless it's a resource such as iron or corn. Then you get the benefits
of having iron, corn or whatever it is, but that's it.

Unlike Civ III, all that is needed is that the city belongs to you. I don't
believe you even need to *have* iron to build the Ironworks, though I could
be wrong there.

This reminds me: how does the Ironworks work? Do you have to have
Iron and/or Coal within the cross, or does it just have to be in the
cultural boundaries?

If you have iron AND coal, you get a big production bonus. If you only have
one of them, you get a smaller bonus...
