Call of duty 4 or Crysis?? - Call of duty 4 or Crysis and why???

Call of Duty game difficulty? - This is Call of Duty 1. Is there a way to change the game once you've started? Like easy to or whatever. If not official, hacking some file would be fine.

File corrupted, the Call of Duty, I want the new set - Hey my game cd “Call of Duty” has been corrupted I don’t know how. I tried searching on net but not getting proper source. Either the download is slow and corrupts the file or it is highly expensive to buy from the internet Shoppe. Guys I need this game..

It starts installing, but can't get it to finish. It just completely locks
the system while it's trying to load one particular file. Sorry, but I
forgot the name of the file it stuck on, but I had to hard boot the system
when it would hang here. Anyone having this problem? I downloaded the COD4
demo with no problems at all. I haven't had problems with any other of the
latest games, just the retail version of this COD4 unfortunately. I can
run crysis with no problems except I need to turn down the graphics some.
I run BioShock, World in Conflict, and a few others. Call of Duty 4 just
won't act right!! I tried to turn off all applications running in the
background, including antivirus, etc... with no luck.

I'm running AMD 4400+
2 gigs of ram
DFI lan party ut nF4 SLI dr motherboard
Windows XP
BFG tech 8800 GTX vid card (with latest drivers)
Creative labs X-Fi sound card (with latest drivers)

any help....

Might not do any good, but first I'd try installing it from Windows
Safe Mode in case some other software is dicking with it during
install.

Its failing at the install so its not anything to do with your system in the
ways
you have been trying.

I think it must be a faulty DVD & you should exchange it ..Try cleaning the
DVD disc (wash & dry it even).

Maybe try to copy (just ordinary file copy) the whole DVD contents into
some TEMP Folder ...see if the faulty file shows up while Windows tries to
do this.
& try to install from that TEMP folder.

Another possibility is if you have your sys overclocked but it doesn't sound
like
it is that.

I purchased it used off of eBay. It had a few scratches on it, so he gave me
my money back, and told me to keep the disc. I tried to run it through this
little Disc Doctor thing. It's a little reconditioner. Has a little wheel
with a buffer on it. But no luck with that.

I'll try what you posted and see what happens. I sure would like to get this
thing running especially after what i've been hearing how good the game is!!
Oh, by the way, i don't have the system overclocked at all Smile
