In the pre-compiled no-wizard win32 version of 0.1.1, I am unable to "run"
({shift}-arrow key). Traveling works, either via CTRL-o or x, * to run to an
item.

Anyone else getting this?

Same here. I compiled it myself for Linux.

Not in my case. First thing I did after realizing / running doesn't
work was checking 'controls' page for alternatives. It doesn't work
with shift or anything else. At least loading games finally works.

It's a bug. Sad

These are the unfortunate consequences of us using hjkl instead of the
numpad. We'll fix it for 0.1.2.

For now you can work around it by macroing 1, 2, etc. to the shifted
vi keys, but watch out for accidentally confirming prompts when
running NW.

Did shift-running work for the keypad on Linux without defining
macros?

Ah no, you'd responded to Remsleep saying shift+running didn't work,
so I thought you were saying shift+running used to work in Linux but
now doesn't.

Could you apply the patch I've posted in response to Rubinstein's
question?

I just did it and it works. This is *with* your recent patch, though.
Since I usually don't use the run command (almost only in Labyrinths) I
can't say something about the unpatched situation.

Btw, I'm talking about /+running, shift+running never worked for me nor
does it now.
