I'm hooked on the Soul Calibur sountrack right now, I'm not sure on the

The opening music to Phoenix. I remember when I first heard that in a dark
arcade. It drew me into it like a drug.

For me it's gotta be those 3 different tunes from Outrun.

Followed closely by Pacland.

I had it as the ringtone on one of my phones once, sampled from MAME,
before I got tired of the whole ringtone thing.

You must mean Magical Sound Shower, Splash Wave, and Passing Breeze.

Outrun 2006 for the PC has this music and others as ogg files. These
three songs even come in different styles including: The original sound,
Reggae and Euro souding remakes. Stays true to the original and very
good.

Here too.

Wanted so say Defender, but has not real music. But the sound was so cool
back in 1980 in the arcade.

Heck yeah. Defender was the coolest game of its time period. The
attract noises were awesome. Williams really knew what they were doing.
Other good attract noises: Frenzy, Berserk, Robotron, Space Fury.
