Interesting things I've noticed so far:
Once you use Millie's card the second time and go down that corridor,
there's a room on the right with an arcade game in it -- which you can
apparently never play. If you try it at any time during the mission, you
get the "Looks like you're busy; come back later" message. When you're NOT
on the mission, you can't enter that hallway.
On the last leg of the mission, when you're going to Verdant Meadows, go to
the LV airport and take a jet. Bail out over Verdant Meadows and notice how
SLOWLY you freefall. It takes many times longer to fall than it normally
would to freefall the same distance. CJ's a bit like a feather. (Bet it
was rigged this way for this mission so that you can jump off of Caligula's
roof without falling too fast. Has anyone EVER made it to that copter?)
I finally tried jumping into that ventilation shaft (where you throw the
teargas) like someone mentioned once. It takes some trying, but can be done
with moderate effort. You end up on the outside of the Caligula's "floating
interior", high in the sky over LV, with "ghost-world" rendering (exterior
world unrendered). If you jump off, it's a mighty long fall before you
splat. Take a parachute if you want to survive and walk around among the
people that spawn in the ghost world. (Open the chute when you get the
message that tells you to. If you open it early, you'll descend for a very
long time.) (Is there any other way into the Ghost World without a cheat in
SA? I know there is in VC. Oh wait. As I recall, if you crash the Beefy
Baron plane into the sea, the mission ends and puts you in the Ghost World
somehow. Anyway. The Caligula's one is a good one.)

I've never made it to the cop chopper roof.
Never been able to play the game, but *have* been able to use the
Sprunk machine - I think it's only there for health replenishment
during the battles...Never been able to get into that duct.
*Have* read that in the ghost world, allternative peds spawn.
Mainly the 3rd drug dealer, that spawns in SF after the extra
territory glitch, as well as more Sindacco's in LV. (not just Bayside)
I would really like to check out the ghost world in SA.
I also find it odd that at least 3 times in my 100% games,
either CJ had no stars, (not shooting the cops/chopper)
or only 1 or 2. Walking as slow as possible all the way back to
Verdant Meadows. Helicopter spotlit, but not "wanted". >> Stay informed about: Breaking the Bank at Caligula's |

Not really that hard. They main thing is to know that it can be done, so
that you don't give up after a couple of quick attempts. It may help to
stand back a couple of paces and jump at it. Keep trying. Once CJ's
standing on the edge of the opening, you're almost there. Keep moving
forward and try jumping. Suddenly, he'll pop through. Once you get the
knack, it usually only takes 30-40 seconds to get it. It's a nice entrance
to the Ghost World.

I've got a question.
Seeing as this vent is in an interior (The huge Caligula's building),
would it be at all possible to use this vent as in the same way one
would use the gym glitch to see other hidden interiors?
I'll give this a try tomorrow, as it sounds feasible to me, and would
make finding some of the northern SA interiors much much easier.
Cheers,
Rob

Quite possibly. I'm no expert on the Interiors, but you're definitely in
the realm of the Interiors when you jump through this vent.

I'm trying this this afternoon (Employment! Urgh!).
I was re-reading the hidden interiors guide from Gamefaqs and you could
definitely be in for recognition here Cleve (It's not listed, not even
as a blue hell jump).
I'm going to have to re-start my search for other gym glitch-type
places. The "No-fly zones" which kill the jetpack make it very
difficult to navigate around the map.
Cheers,
Rob

Naw. I definitely read about jumping into this vent, somewhere. (Not
really a Blue Hell jump; you don't end up in the Underworld, just the Ghost
World (unrendered above-ground world).

Far as I understand, what's killing the jetpack is the height: you're way
above the jetpack ceiling in some of those interiors. (But why don't the
interior floors create a new "ground level", like the tops of buildings
usually do?)
AND -- surely there's a no-jetpack-ceiling cheat, somewhere! (At the very
least, it should be possible for the PC guys to find and alter the ceiling
value in some file. (Possible, but not easy.) I want a PS2 cheat code, of
course. I'm disappointed in the programmers if they didn't make one.
Should have been easy.)

More stuff.
It's POSSIBLE (but very hard) to get the forklift through the narrow hall
doorway. However, there's just another such doorway around the corner, so
why bother.
Near the end of the mission (inside), they suddenly take away access to the
room the forklift was originally in. A freight door is created that's only
open 3 or 4 feet. CJ can't get under it. Why? Why did they suddenly go to
the trouble to seal off that room?
(And be sure to read my Superman post for another item of interest relating
to this mission.)

Don'y know if I mentioned this: The Ghost World appears because the
game doesn't *know* you've exited somewhere. Do the gym glitch, and use
a jetpack to fall off the solid part. On the way down, you'll see
"Loading Data" appear very briefly (Literally a quarter of a second).
This is the "real" height of the game world, and thus after a minute or
so you'll hit thr ground.
It's important to know that when this happens there is no way to get
back in to the interiors universe(s), and I've found that only entering
and re-entering a yellow entry arrow seems to clear it (Without dying
that is).

The simple answer is: The interiors world is like cyberspace. It has
bits and pieces but isn't always directly connected. To be more
accurate: The interiors world and the actual GTA map *do not* align
properly. Typically, the water area north of the countryside and south
of LV is aligned just north of LS in the interior world.

There is indeed a cheat, but non cheat-device PS2 and XBox plays are
going to be disappointed. I'm pretty sure there's a mod for the jetpack
on the PC version though (That appears to be where all the really good
pictures of Liberty City come from - You can tell by the distance of
the building pop-up).
I'll post my revised Caligula's casino notes tomorrow morning, I need
to take a break for a bit )
Cheers,
Rob

Stay on foot and Woozie will contact you.
Did anybody else get a phone call from him if you take a while to get
the keycard? He get's really impatient, it's a bit like the
girlfriend's phone calls.
