Post subject: Brand new x360 date problem

Hi!
I have new xbox360 and when is turned off it loose's clock and date
settings. What to do? Any cmos batery inside to change?
Pople from store don't know anything about batery inside....

Don't know if there is anything you can do. If mine is turned off at mains
it does exactly the same. If you use Xbox live I think it updates itself
that way. You could always leave the power 'brick' plugged in - with the
light on - but if you're the energy saving type it's not ideal.

Turned off at the console? Call 1 800 4 my xbox

If you turn off the main power it will lose the clock setting but should
reaquire from Live when you log in.

Brand new? Simple: go back and exchange it for a new one. You did save
the receipt, right?

Are you unplugging it at night? That could be the problem.
