Does anyone have some suggestions for weapons for a Cube against
T-Rex's?

The game is in late stages with possible all Exotic techs available?

Several issues can be taken into account.

Neither ship has an Evasive Bonus or an Attack Bonus, so the basic
weapon stats become very important.

The T-Rex has minimal shields, so Shield Drain isn't very important.
With massive armor that only takes 1/3 normal Armor Drain, Armor Drain
is hugely important. A couple of Ion Cannons *might* be considered, as
they can start damaging the Systems before you have halfway chewed
through the armor.

The T-Rex has only 5 PD slots, and the Cube has 20 LWeapon slots, so
PDodds may be less of a factor. You might consider overwhelming him
with Photon Torpedos. If you have more than 10 Torpedos, more than
half will be hitting (up to 75% if all 20 slots are Torpedos).

The T-Rex can mount TLAs. See if he has any Amphibians in his bases.
If he has them, its a good bet that he will use at least a couple on
each T-Rex (he could have up to 4-5 or so before running out of energy
to power any other weapons). If he has them, you may need to go with
Gatling Phasors to match his firing rate (or just see if Standoff Range
is working).

If you can afford them, go with Intercepts for PD. They can block 2/3
of his LWeapon fire, which may offset his 1/3 Armor Drain quite nicely.

Of course, if you go loaded for Bear (the T-Rex), beware getting
swarmed by the Coyotes (Lokis) and Mosquitoes (Fighters).

About to take the fight to the lizards..... I know someone who might be
intrested in that information Smile

Unfortunatly a conflict of intrest prevent me from giving any
suggestions, but i here cubes armed with heavy lasers are 'The Win!'

I have enough information at this time. Thanks for all the help.

I really like it when the several TRex's follow 2 Cubes and 7 of them
hit minefields. What's the word I'm looking for....kaboom.....blowing
up hitting minefields.

Forget PTT on the cube against a T-Rex. I recently had a couple of 1:1
situations with the T-Rex having mostly PPCs. The cube was eaten alive.

Also an option sandcastors and 1,000,000+ colonist. The cube weapon no
amount of armor will stop.
