The Uncanny Dodge class ability lets you use your Dex bonus to AC in
the event you would otherwise have lost it by being "flat footed or
attacked by an invisible opponent".

Using the Bluff skill to successfully Feint In Combat makes the target
unable to use their AC against the attacker who feinted but it does
NOT specifically label it as being "flat footed".

To me the reason that it isn't labeled as "Flat Footed" is that they
would not lose their Dex bonus to AC against other attackers, nor
would they lose their ability to make Attacks of Opportunity against
others. Losing your DEX bonus against only a single attacker seems to
be a subset of the full set of conditions of being Flat Footed.

By a strict interpretation of the RAW is appears that Uncanny Dodge
does not help you if someone successfully feints because your
condition is not LABELED "Flat Footed." This is even though the
condition is LESS serious than being "Flat Footed". Is this correct?
Is there an official document (FAQ, Errata, Splatbook, etc.) that
expands on this?

Yes. It is an ability that specifically protects against the disadvantages
of the Flat-Footed condition or an attack from an invisible opponent. It
does not provide blanket protection against any circumstance in which you
might lose your DEX bonus to AC.

Yes. Even though the rogue might be always ready for trouble and
therefore almost impossible difficult to get a drop on, but he'll still
leave himself wide open if someone fakes him out in a sword fight.

It seems appropriate to me both thematically and in terms of gameplay.

Yep. Flat-footed is a subset of all conditions that make you lose
your Dex mod to AC, which include such things as running, climbing,
grappling (against those not in the grapple), cowering, being stunned,
blinded, facing invisible attackers, and so on.
The Rogue ability protects you from just a couple of them. Though
some conditions are a subset of being flat-footed (like balancing),
presumably so that Uncanny Dodge works with them, or just because they
forgot.

I make all those things the same, flat-footed, but that's just me.
