Thanks for the tip. I fixed it for 3.2, then I thought that the playername
could be displayed at the haven and changed that one pc back accordingly.

Otherwise 3.2 is near completion with the major change being that now in
combat areas killing innocents will result in humanity losses which should
raise the challenge. Also I blocked disciplines on non humans when they
were not working right on them and got rid of some left over respawning.

I have just finished Bloodlines for the first time with just the
official patches. I have to say that I enjoyed the game very much and
didn't find the last areas of the game to be as tedious as I was led to
believe - but then I chose to sneak through them whenever feasible. I
am a skill-point hoarder, so I could easily up my stealth when it was
required. The one mission where it is not particulary feasible (the
last one before the end-game proper begins) I pretty much hated,
though. Also, the last big fight was very tedious with a melee
character, IMHO. Yes, final areas were longer than they should have
been, and very lacking in conversation, which is a pity. But all the
light adventure elements were generally enjoyable. The ending (anarch)
was very satisfying, I thought.
If anybody is interested, the gamestopper with the Ming door was
resolved by a graphic card change - I hade NVidia GeForce 5200 FX and
got Ati Radeon 800 XT.

OK, so I am now looking to re-play it with one of your patches, but
this 3.2 thing goes too far for me, particulary since Presence seems to
work on all non-humans bar one. Which of your earlier patches fixes the
most, while being stable and not introducing new bugs? I'd be very
grateful for a reccomendation.

I don't think the graphic card matters, that gamestopper is random and
could normally be solved by saving and reloading but I have removed it
completely on one of my later patches.

You misunderstood me. I only removed disciplines that were not working
correctly like Blood Boil for enemies that won't explode but stay stucked
in that animation. Presence works as usual.

Sorry, but I really don't know. Just look at the readme...
