Anyone who started playing in the last, uh, 3 or 4 years doesn't have
them. And anyone who did buy into CE, but didn't buy 1 billion cards
and horde them all probably doesn't have all of them. Everyone in my
group saw this and said "Cool! 10 bucks for all the CE vampires?
Awesome!"

CE only had 2 vampires per pack, so even if you bought 2 boxes there
was no quarntee you'd get a full set of vampires. I payed 40 bucks
for my first full set of Cam vampires on the secondary market. 10
bucks for a full set is a steal to me. Also, even the more seasoned
players may have the CE vamps, but probably not the amounts they need,
or extras to trade/give away to new players like they do with Jyhad or
Vtes printings.

That's right. My entire playgroup (except me) falls into this
category. All of them were very psyched about this set and will buy
it. It's the missing link for their group 2 SW vamps and group 4 LoB
vamps. Plus, the only Camarilla they have now is some group 1 stuff I
had left over, so they're getting a whole new sect to play with.

I'm in this group. As for a cool deckbox/tin (if that's the case),
that's a reason all by itself to buy at least one.

Wouldn't have minded some ADV versions of the included vamps as a
bonus though (wishfull thinking)...

I bought 5 boxes of Camarilla boosters and I still need more Group
3's

No. There are a lot of "new" (within the last 5 years!) players who never
got a chance to buy Cam Edition at all, and a lot of experienced players
didn't want to buy so much Cam Edition just for the vampires, because they
had metric tons of the library cards already.
Personally, I bought a few boxes of Cam Edition and there are still a
few vamps I only have 0-1 copies of from that set.

Also, for the price, and with the new VEKN rules regarding prize support,
I personally think a set of BSC is going to be a good first place tournament
prize for small tourneys.

Also also, we haven't seen the packaging yet. If it's as "neat" as the
10th anniversary tins, then many players will want at least one of these
anyway.

there are 96 non-advanced, non-bloodlines Independant vampires in
Group 2!!!

there are 146 non-advanced, non-bloodlines Sabbat vampires in Group
2!!

What do you think of that?

I plan to buy 2 sets.

I need like 28 more of the vamps (4 Tammy Walinski!), and for a while
now, haven't found any trading partners for Cam vamps.

Sooo, I will get out the 28 vamps, hope I can trade for teh other 2
Tammy Walinski's I want (I like to have at least 6 of every vamp); and
then sell the rest as singles. Or perhaps put them on Maha to trade for
other vamps I need.

For me, I think a couple of sets will definitely be worth it.

Good point Josh - I haven't noticed, are the tins going to be like the
10th Anniversary tins? All I am seeing is that it will have "deluxe
packaging"...

Absolutely--there are plenty of CE vamps I don't even own, let alone
have multiples of (which I either never managed to pick up in the
first place, or swapped off, not realizing I only had the one, or
before it was apparent that CE vamps would become hard to get). And
recently, I have been trying to fill in some holes in my CE vampire
collection, and find myself doing things like getting a Casino Royale
off e-bay from France for 5 bucks or whatever. And then you got
vampires like Carna the Hot Witch and The Inapproproately Named Cock
Robin, who go for, like, 10 bucks each.

All indications are that Blood Shadowed Court will sell just fine.

So long 16 answers in this thread, and no comments on why no new cards
was included to _guarantee_ explosive sales. Sure, I too miss out one
or two CE-vamps, and maybe I will buy a set of BSC, but if there was a
bunch of new cards in I would _absolutely_ buy one! Very weird
thinking from WW I think. Unless they plan to print many Advanced
versions of the CE-vamps in new Camarilla-set!
