I'm a real piece of work, I'll tell ya. I bet I don't have three
working memory cells left.

I've spent the better part of yesterday and today trying to
find my pen drive. Still haven't found it. I need the little devil
so I can transfer some files that are too large for a diskette yet
too small to burn a CD over.

Knowing past history, I'd better buy another one, because
the one I misplaced won't show up for another 6 to 9 months.

I should buy that inexpensive portable card reader I saw, too....

Project time! Make a pretty thing out of a 3-foot hunk of 2x4, and hook it
to the lanyard on your pen drive. You'll never lose it again! Very Happy

(I gotta remind the shop guys to tie a big hunk of aluminum to their USB
copy protection key. Thing's worth about $6k.)

Excellent idea! You know what would be quick & easy? Junior-
size baseball bats. Just put in a screw eye on one end and attach
the small gizmo. I swear, I'm going right now and scribble those
onto my shopping list!

Worst part of it will be coming home from buying the new one and
finding the old one, laying in plain sight...

I hate it when I do that.
