Have you tried Medieval: Total War? I am not generally a fan of Strat
games (micro-managing resources is too much like work), but M:TW is
probably the best game I've played in the last year or so.

Yeah, that's tough. If you get rid of the boy friend, she'll probably be
too depressed/angry to play PC games with you anyway. Mind you, it is your
duty as a father to weed out at least some of the boyfriends, but there is
never enough room under the patio for all of them.

10 yards? That doesn't allow enough time for your car to warm up. Or do

I was in the Cotswolds recently and compared to Essex it's a drivers
paradise. Coupled with idyllic countryside and beautiful stone houses
I only wish my business would allow me to move there, I'd go tomorrow.
Alas, I need the filth of the East End to survive and I couldn't
handle the commute. On my next visit I will go down to Oxford for a
look, I always mean to but never seem to find the time.

Nothing actually, it was a poor attempt at humour. If I do get up to
anything worthy of note I'll be sure to report it though, my
girlfriend never reads this stuff over my shoulder. She thinks the
fact that we've all been rehashing the same old stuff for the last
eight years is "The most boring thing she can think of", which at
least moves my sexual prowess up a place.

I'll look this up. I've been awfully remiss in my planning of late, I
should have got down to see the Lemster one weekend by now but work,
flu and other stuff keeps interfering (I suspect this is why he's not
speaking to me much, he carries a grudge something awful and does
Karate, I'm going to have to be at my most diplomatic). If I can I
would love to make the trip to the A36 though at some stage.
IOW eh? Never been, but they tell me it's surrounded by sea, how
strange.
