Hi,

My Battlezone mini's monitor is nice and bright for the most part.
Every so often (especially after its been on a little while) the screen
fades to VERY dim for a minute or two, then comes back to full
brighness.

I'm thinking maybe a cap kit will fix? Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Mike

No, no size change, it just goes really dim. I'll have a look at that
connector and resolder and see if it helps.

Thanks!

Mike

does the size of the picture change? that could indicate a bad HV diode.
More likely you need to resolder the header pins on the deflection pcb where
the CRT filament voltage from the power supply comes in to the monitor
