Battlefield Bad Company Beta

Yup. Bought an IGN Insider subscription just to get into the beta. I know
I'm sick. Between COD4, Hotshots Golf (have not stopped playing the game
since it was released), GTP and now this Beta, I am going to have cramped
hands and eye strain.

This is my biggest concern with the game. All the video I have seen so far
has clipping, tearing and some frame issues. Having nearly everything
destructible with that level of detail will cause havoc with frame rates and
online performance. The first Battlefield on XBL ran like hell. It is the
only reason I stopped playing the game. Battlefield is my 3rd favorite
shooter on the 360. I hope this one doesn't disappoint. I guess I will know
tomorrow.

I am hoping what I saw in the videos was just poor quality and not the
actual game itself. Even the demo in the beat download has clipping and
tearing but it is definitely poor mpeg quality (it's a beta).

I notice things (sound - clarity / imaging. video - frame rates / color
quality / saturation / resolution. etc..) most don't. It comes with the
territory of being a HT freak.

At least I am not one of those nerds that buy into speaker break in and
purchasing expensive speaker wire / cables.

I'm actually looking forward to Dark Sector. I haven't seen/heard a lot of
hype about this one, but it looks pretty filthy...
