United Armed Forces is one of the finest Battlefield 2142 clans around!
The United Armed Forces was started in December of 2001 by Wolfcry044. The UAF started as a Star Trek Bridge Commander clan and expanded to support all games from there. UAF supported various different games, until finally settling down into the Battlefield 2142 community.
We now support Battlefield 2142. We will likely support more games in the future. The United Armed Forces Battlefield 2142 Clan was first started in December of 2006, six years after the initial beginnings of the UAF. We have been through a lot over the years and have survived much, however we remain to be close knit, and our friendship is beyond mere gaming.
Anyone taking part in the United Armed Forces becomes part of its clans unique history. Over the years many people have taken part in what UAF has to offer as a community. Many come and some go but always the memory of the clans past remains remembered. Different ideas have taken shape over the course of UAF's history, many ideas. Squad Wars, refined ranking systems, and other great ideas. We have grown to enjoy our part in being a part of the Battlefield 2142 community of clans. There is much yet to explore in this new world, and we wish to find friends, diplomacy contacts, and perhaps even run into some friendly Battlefield 2142 clan scrims with whatever Battlefield 2142 Clans we can find who would like to have some good old fashioned head to head fun.
We pride ourselves on our strong values, high morals, and the positively oriented gaming community we create for our members! Since we're a Battlefield 2142 Clan, we try to play as often as we can together! From Squad Wars to practices and scrims with other clans, UAF members get the best gaming experience that can be offered any BF2142 clan anywhere! We incorporate communication programs such as TeamSpeak and XFire into everyday clan activities so that we can continue to be connected all the time! Being a military simulation clan, United Armed Forces members get a real-life military experience through our military inspired rules, guidelines, ranks and structure!
One of our military simulation aspects is our ranking system. Members of UAF earn new ranks by being active on the forums and by actively participating in squad practices, UAF events, or simply by playing Battlefield 2142 a lot! Ranks range from Private to Major and beyond! With each new rank comes new responsibilities and maybe even a few perks! Perhaps one of the coolest parts about being in UAF is that our officers aren't selected purely by rank, though ranks may help. Officers in UAF are selected for their leadership ability, not just for their rank, and they are trained to be respectful of lower ranked members as well as to do the highest quality work they possibly can as they help to guide the clan through good times and hard times alike.
Right off the bat, members see much of our organization as they earn promotions, receive awards and get closer to other members by being in squads! Members divided up into squads participate in many events sponsored by the clan! Squads participate in squad wars, an event unique to UAF, where different squads can challenge each other. Throughout the course of the Squad War 'season,' squads earn points depending on the outcome of each match. At the end of the Squad Wars tournament, the scores are counted and the winners get a prize and recognition.
And if all that wasn't good enough, UAF is entirely self-sustained! Our game severs and website are kept running entirely by donations from our members! We also offer a wide variety of departments and jobs within the clan for our members to join. Each of these departments presents our members with a new opportunity, and a chance to help keep the clan running smoothly.
The biggest part of the United Armed Forces is our morals and standards. Here at UAF, we believe that every gaming community should be appropriate for all ages, and making UAF this way has been our goal from the very beginning! So, if UAF sounds like the kind of place that interests you, come on in, check us out, and stay a while!
