Is Battlecraft easy to make maps for?

Actually I just made a small test map with battlecraft and quickly
found out that to play single player you need Botinator, So I
downloaded that, but then found out I needed WinRFA for botinator to
open the files so it can work.. so I did that. and it started doing
its thing . after repacking the files back I think I MAY HAVE messed
up.Now the BF Game won't start. I must have screwed up something ...oh
well going to install BF again and leave map mapping to the pros...way
too much work . Have no idea why people do this for free.
