Hi everyone,
Just got back from the Retro Computerday in the Netherlands.
It was a very nice weekend and Jeroen Sanders (vectrex.nl), John
Macallan, Alex Nicholson and myself got a chance to meet up (even
before the show) and hang out which was good fun. I really enjoyed it!
Also vectrex-enthousiasts Joerg, Marc (lemmen) and Laurent (from
belgium) were present. It was sad that Pepijn was absent this year,
especially with so many vectrex guys around.
Well, i'm off to get a good night sleep now, more on the event soon..

Good to hear you guys had a nice weekend! Due to some personal
inconveniences I wasn't able to attend, which I really regret...
However, I'm really looking forward seeing the pics, if any! |

Hi All,
Just returned Blighty after the Retro Dag. I had a great time. Huge
thanks to my wonderful Dutch hosts for taking care of me there. Great
to meet everyone (sorry to miss you Pepijn) in person and to witness
such a cool event (and also to be in the presence of a blue Vectrex
ball.)

Erm, no CGE in the UK this year sadly. Eurocon on the other hand IS
being held in the UK this year, so you're more than welcome to sign up
and come along 
(and yes I'll be aiming to have Vectrex presence there, hoping with

I have put some pictures of the new 3d goggles in action on
www.vectrex.nl, and some links to picture galleries of the day.
How about Spike circus with the orange overlay, Color Clash and Debris
EE!
Or the picture of that mega-rare virtual-boy shopdisplay which was for
sale!!
I spoke to a father and son who both! owned a dutch vectrex display,
one even with the coin mechanism/clock so you could play for some time

Arghhh! Jeroen, why did you have to mention the VB stand! I've been
recovering slowly from the memory of missing out on it. I'd managed to
kid myself it would have been too much trouble to fly home with, but
having seen it again,.. it could have had my seat and I'd have sat in
the luggage hold.. ahhh, tis a thing of beauty.. ;( BooHoo.

I think the game being worked on....
vectrex repair - I have a vectrex unit that I've had since I was a kid. The display shows dots with broken lines on minestorm and any inserted cartridge. I've tried to resolder the 4 pin connector as mentioned by somepeople on this site, no luck. I'm amazed by the depth...
