BTmod 2.2 UI Customization Package
By Beider
I am trying to get the stat screens from this mod working, where you can add
extra text, remove borders, make the map take up all of the screen
so I install these files where they state
(Oblivion\Data\menus\prefabs\ui_config) and I have no other mod installed to
conflict with them, but I still don't see any difference. how do I get them
to work?

You'll need to extract the BTModv220.rar package first completely, and after
that apply the custom stuff from the Custom package. >> Stay informed about: BTmod 2.2 UI Customization Package question/problem |

It's a myth that there's a "curse of King Tut's tomb" and 'most ' of
the people who were present at the opening of the tomb died swift,
horrible deaths. Of the 22 present at it's opening, 21 were alive 10
years later >> Stay informed about: BTmod 2.2 UI Customization Package question/problem |

I am still having difficulty with this one. can you explain it in detail?
the readme's with the files are a little vague, or maybe I am being a little
vague.
there is a whole bunch of stuff in the BTModv220.rar package that I simply
do not want while the UI I Customization Package has all the files I want.

You don't keep downloaded mods in a separate directory for use in later
reinstalls?

It *is* a tick once and play mod, especially if you downloaded the
self-installing version. I have no earthly idea what you've done to get
yourself in a condition where it was necessary to reinstall the game, but
whatever it was, this mod didn't do it, based on what I've seen at least.
Everything in the mod only goes in one folder AFAIK, the Data/Menus folder,
and if you backed the Menus folder up before installing, then to go back to
it all you need to do is get rid of the "post-BT mod" Menus folder and
replace it with the original. Easiest way to do that kind of thing is
simply rename the "original" to something like XXmenusXX.
Or, you could simply delete the Menus folder and the game should revert to
its defaults.
