Strange thing happened in the game I just played
Researched and discovered Physics which revealed 3 Uranium deposits I
mined and railroaded each one.
Later in the game I tried to build Attack Subs only to be told when I
checked that I had no Uranium and yet there were the three mines still
visible and still with railroads
Seems like there maybe a bug there that only surfaces sometimes

Were the mines operating. Meaning, was there a city nearby? You should see
the mine car running and a puff of smoke.

Did it actually tell you. When I lack a resource the unit simply doesnt show
up and I dont get an explanation why.

The reason I ask is because they require 3 separate techs, just wondering if
you had them all. (Check the civilopedia)

Yes I had all the tech's I checked that
It will tell you if you have or do not have the resources if you go
into civilopedia and click on the resources required and it will tell
you how many you have in this case it said I had none

Uranium requires Fission. Physics only reveals it.

Was your uranium in the "fat square" of a city?

That shouldn't make any difference. I've built destroyers fuelled from an
oil well outside any fat cross, and so forth, any number of tiems. This
sounds like yet another bug to me.

In answer to the questions from Bert and Jeffery

Although it does not need to be in the fat square two of the mines
were
Yes I had Physics and Fission which I should have mentioned before
I am inclined to think its just one of those bugs that may or may not
happen again
