BC swordsmith to hammersmith ?

Hi

Before i realised how bad blacksmithing could be i took my rogue through the
blacksmithing route.
And got him swordsmith mastery. Ive had a look at BC, and while there are
nice craftable
swords around, they are far too fast for my spec so id like to go
hammersmith.

Currently id have to drop bsmithing entirely and re-level it which would be
painful.
But it mentions on the wow site that 'blacksmiths can change focus'

Does anyone in beta know how this works?. Ideally its a one off option to
change specialisation. Having to do the hammer quest wouldnt be too bad
either. But i have a horrible feeling it involves re-doing 300 bsmithing.
