If your winning play more but if your losing 10 games is the minimum number
you have to play to get arena points.

Arena points are awarded weekly if your team has done at least10 matches
that week (and you get the points if you've been in 30% of the weekly
matches). The amount of points you get is dependent on your rating and
not the amount of matches, so doing more than 10 per week is only
beneficial if you keep winning and thus raising your rating.

When you start a new team you get a rating of 1500. One of two things
is likely to happen next:

If you are not geared or skilled enough to fight in the arenas at that
rating you *will* drop every game you play so you need to play only 10
games per week to maximise your points gain.

However, if you are geared and skilled enough to hold your own at 1500
rating and you find that you are gaining rating points each game then
you need to play as many games as possible to maximise points gain.

First off, in arenas, take that win / loss ratio and throw it out the
door. It's a meaningless arena stat. Once that's out of the way....

Do you want to become good at arenas, or do you just want gear?

If you just want gear, play exactly 10 games, make sure you play at
least 3 of them, and call it a week.

If you want to become good at arenas, find a reliable partner and
play. A lot. Like 40-50 games a week or more. No swapping partners, no
worrying about points, just play and discuss each the game afterwards.
Pick one thing you want to do better after every game, and work on
that for the next game.
