Ok, really pushing the boat out here, but here goes...

Many years ago (about six - seven) I used to have an AVI that played of
an arcade. It was rendored and really well done with sound.

You would go from outside into the arcade and do a sweep of the machines
as you went buy them. They'd all play the correct sounds.

There was a giant eighties video wall that I seem to remember at least
Tom Baker from Dr Who being on it and it was a really fantastic piece of
work.

Does anyone have any clue as to what I am talking about and it it still
exists?

The file was called arcade64.mpg (or avi?). The background music was
"Stone In Love" by Journey.

So Google should find it.

The quicktime version allows you to turn the music on and off(it's a
Journey song) by clicking the left and right sides of the screen.

I saw a similar one recently, however it was ruined by the sound being
overlaid with the usual cheesy rock track so you could only hear the
videogame sounds in the background. Completely ruined an otherwise
very good video. I've scrubbed the download details from my mind I'm
afraid but I spotted it from links on common Mame websites.

All,

Thanks for your help, I've been unable to find the Arcade64 one, but it
certinally was an earlier one by Dave, the style is just the same.

I've been doing a bit of research with the help provided here and I
think it was called...

macmame

....and was released as an AVI as well as a MOV file. A little more work,
produced this... Very Happy

http://www.arcadeathome.com/mamemovie.phtml

This is the orignal one and considerably better one as far as I am
concerned.

Thank you all...

If you get absolutely stuck, it's on my meowkie server in #mame at the
lower link. Please use an IRC client though, as you cannot do xfers via
the java chat interface.
