AoK Multiplayer Hangs w/ Computer Players

Hello,

Recently I've gotten hooked to AoK. I've been playing
Internet games with a few friends with computer players as
well. After playing several years in these games, AoK has
a tendency to hang.

It seems to be when there are large numbers of computer
controlled units that the game can just hang. Eventually
the voting dialog screen will show up in which you can
select to Wait, Continue, or Save and Exit. However, I've
talked to the other players on the phone when we've all
selected Continue. The multiplayer game never syncs up
again and we're forced to exit.

Some pertinent info of the system hosting AoK multiplayer:
Windows XP Pro
3.2 GHz P4
2 GB Ram
DirectX 9
All players have broadband connections.

I've seen

however I'm certain that no players are running SMS. Any
suggestions?

Hi Jeff,

A few things could cause that, the first two that come to mind is that
one of the guys might be trying to run a trainer during online play, or
might have so much spyware on their system that it's throwing off the
game's synchronization. Use process of elimination to find out who.
