You're welcome. It was when you said one of the shiny ones it rang bells -
it's the Shinytyme Cooktop, and I've just been building a new college.
Matches those rather nice "Industrial Steelate Counters", those the ones
you have in that kitchen?

It's all good - i spent a good half hour swearing at the cat when i
could get one family to cook whatever they want, and another one could
only cook certain things - why they only have ONE that way (or not have
the moveable counter-based cooktop like in TOS1....) is beyond my
comprehension.

Nah.. i have some wooden looking things with sort of a small pattern on
the lower part with green and such. Dark brown and green IIRC. And the
shiny stove with brown trim sort of worked with the color scheme. Now i
have to put this white stove in the middle of what was a very pretty
kitchen all done up in dark greens and brown. Totally sticks out like a
sore thumb LOL But i can make turkey and lobster now. Just wish there
were more color options for these stoves.

I am famous for my typos. But yesterday i did start a new medication
that had me *really* loopy. My poor partner had to listen to me repeat
myself for most of the night LOL. It's a bit better today though.. not
so spacey. Might go out and bother the people at the grocery store a
bit instead of bugging Gary all night. heh heh

Yeah.. the expensive one. Ugly thing that is it. The cheaper black one
would look ok in the same kitchen.. but it says for hunger it is only a
4 and the white one is a 10- so i went with that one.
I would go scouting for a recolor on some sites.. but i don't think i
have a zip utility on this computer. Very bright colors sound right up
my alley! I love tacky stuff.. this kitchen however is one of my more
classy looking ones for a change.
Hmmmm.. maybe i'll go hunting for a zip thingy.

In my game turkey is a group meal and is only available during dinnertime. I
have to choose Serve Dinner in order for my sims to cook turkey. Can't get
them to make a single serving. Could be the same thing with the Lobster
Thermidor.
After reading the pork chop post I was sure my turkey option had also
disappeared. Then I found it in group meals...
Could that what the problem is for you? You're trying to get them to make an
individual serving instead of a group meal?

The expensive one? I got some from somewhere, brass, black, steel, and some
very bright colours I have never used nor expect to so why I don't get rid I
don't know. Can't tell from the file names just where I got them though.
