Hi All,

I bought Animal Crossing for the DS recently and am having major
problems saving my progress. The manual clearly states that you have
to press the start button to save, however I am always greeted with a
message along the lines of '...unable to save right now.'

This occurs even if I am in the bedroom of my house...

Any ideas?

Play through the first couple tasks in the game. They only take five
minutes. Then you can save. Being in your bedroom does nothing, BTW.

What you need to do is talk to somebody twice. They will ask you your
birthday, then you will be able to save.
