different trees.

Are you asking about the specialization quests?

Alchemists can choose to specialize in potions, elixirs, or transmutes.
Once you are specialized, you have a chance to receive extra items whenever
you make one of your specialized items.

For example, my Priest is specialized in Potions. When I am making Super
Mana Potions, about 15% of the time I get two potions instead of one. I
have heard of people getting more than two, in fact up to five at a time,
but it has not happened to me.

Specialization
At the highest skill levels, master alchemists can select a
specialization in one of three areas: Transmuting, Potions, and
Elixirs.
A specialist in one of these areas has a chance of creating
additional finished products when practicing their craft.
For example, a master of potions has a chance of creating more than
one potion for the same materials.

To become a specialist, you must be at least 68 with at least 345
skill in alchemy.
To become a master of potions, seek out Lauranna Thar'well in Cenarion
Refuge, Zangarmarsh.
For the master of elixirs, go to Lorokeem in Shattrath City.
Finally, Zarevhi, the trainer of master transmutation, resides in
Stormspire, Netherstorm.

I seriously was totally unaware there was certain trees you had to pick does that mean once you have picked one there is no reversing it? because I make all my money from transmutes, but I have already learned everything from the trainer in lower city, does this mean its too late to go to the transmute tree?
