According to posts I read before installing it, Aerodesign's A340-313
FS2002 panel (from ad343_base_house.zip) works 'fine' in FS2004. But I
can't get the main gauges to show up, either in 2D or VC.
I have all the gauges correctly installed in the Gauges folder, (and I
switched on the battery in the a/c overhaed panel itself !!). Where
the main 3 gauges should be (HSI etc.) I just get black.I tried it in
two different FS PCs, with the same result.
Anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it? The only
thing I can think of is that I have FSUIPC.dll installed for FS9, not
FS8 ??
If I cannot get this to work, does anyone know of another good panel
for A340s with a VC that I might use? The a/c models I have include a
VC, so in theory there shoudl be no problem, but I have spent hours
trying to set up a panel with VC, with no success (bmps OK, but blank
gauges) - can't get ab340km_panel.zip to work either; black gauges ...
My panel.cfg files have all the right VC information in too, and the
texture folders also have the right VC bmps in them, so I am at a
loss. Set up A330s with a VC no problem.. Help appreciated.
Thanks,

well, the idea with the battery isn't that far off.
i had a similar problem with another panel. turned out some gauges were
"attached" to the wrong bus. FS 2002 models a rather primitive electric
system, while FS2004's is rather extensive.
what did the trick for me was to install some of the default switches
on an additional 2d panel window.
