Age of Empires 3 "Failed to join game" Vista issue

Hi,

Since installing windows vista ultimate I have been having issues joining
most online games in Age of Empires 3: The warchiefs. about 80% of the games
i try to join, i get the following message "Failed to join game"

I know this is a vista issue, as i have the game working on xp just fine. I
am an MCP and i have read and done everything microsofts website and on age
community website and forums, checked all the ports, and i am certain its
vista.

Are you guys at microsoft aware of this? I am thinking of dual booting with
my xp so i can play direct x 9 games on xp, as vista's extra security somehow
is getting in the way.

Any help would be great, i would rather stick with vista only.

PS, i think there maybe a hotfix for it, but why all the hastle? Age of
Empires 3 is a microsoft game, and its a Games for Windows game.
