I'm an addon junky so be prepared for the long list of Ace (exclusively
Ace2, actually) addons I use:

- Bartender2 (style, move, resize the blizzard action bars)
- BigWigs (BossMod, replaces CT_RABossMod)
- Buffalo / ElkBuffBar (customize your buffs / debuffs list)
- Chronometer (like CCWatch, timer bars for debuff / effects on enermy
like frost nova, polymorph, etc.)
- Detox (decursive replacement, the priority list is not as
configurable as the original decursive, but pretty good otherwise)
- DeuceCommander (gives you drop down menu configs for ace addons that
could only be configured by slash commands otherwise, I use it with
fubar)
- FuBar + various modules
- FuTextures (more fubar backgrounds if you get tired of the default)
- GMail (CT_MailMod replacement. works _exactly_ the same way the CT
one does, good for people who are too used to the CT way of things)
- IDCard (add item icons next to item tooltips)
- InFlight (very lightweight flight timer bar)
- Mendeleev (shows info about items, like stack size, used in what
profession and which recipes if you have that profession, faction
required for rep items, etc)
- MobHealth (speaks for itself, shows you how much hitpoints mobs have)
- oCB (casting bar replacement, so I can move it around, resize, change
texture)
- oRA2 (CT_RaidAssist replacement. compatable with CT, your raid leader
won't even know you're not on CTRA if you do not tell)
- PerfectRaid (minimalistic raid frame that shows only info that would
be useful / interesting to my class)
- PerfectTargets (list all the hostile units of my raid party members
has targeted, showing how many people has each targetted, and which MT
is on them. Load-on-demand, needs a stub like SupplyAndDemand.)
- Prat (chat mod with many many cool improvement to the default chat
ui, it replaced ChatMod for me, but there are many more similar non-ace
ones out there)
- SCT (scrolling combat text, where Blizzard took the idea for their
floating combat text from. It's still more configurable then the
blizzard version so I kept it)
- SimpleCombatLog (filter out all the extra info in the combat log to
show only entries that would be interested to you)
- SupplyAndDemand (for me it solely exists to load PerfectTargets, but
in generally it's a stub to load any load-on-demand addons when certain
conditions are satisfied, such as joining a raid)
- TheLowDown (auto scroll to the bottom of chat after a certain amount
of time, like a few seconds. fixes my problem of leaving the chat
somewhere in the history and missing all the new messages)
- TinyTip (tooltip modifications like adding extra info about players /
mobs, coloring according to type, anchoring to mouse cursor, etc.)
- WitchHunt (like SpellAlert or SpellAlertSCT, prints a line when an
enermy begins casting something)
- XLoot (loot window that anchors by your mouse cursor, AND it resizes
to fit all items available, so no more flipping through 3 pages of
loot)

A lot of them are technically beta, so you might not find them all on
http://www.wowinterface.com/. Check out the following links to find out
more about them:

Wiki: http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Category:Addons
Forum: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?board=22.0
Download: http://www.wowace.com/files/index.php

I also use https://sourceforge.net/projects/wowaceupdater to keep my 50
ace addons updated.

Just wanted to add Antagonist, it's an enemy cast bar mod (which I
guess is going away with TBC, except that it also tracks enemy
cooldowns and short buffs [like Blink and PW:S]). I never tried the
non-Ace equivalent, but I love this mod. It's pretty helpful in PvE
grinding (which is all the PvE I've tried it with so far), and it's
awesome in PvP, almost feel like I'm cheating. The GUI is a little
clumsy, but it's very customizable.
