I just put them where Redd's tent appears. That's why it's 900, because
his tent covers 9 squares.

I have two spare characters to hold 3000 turnips.

Is it me or are fossils getting harder to find?

I've found it's a damn site harder to see holes since the snow went! Agree
about the fossils tho, been digging up lots of oids lately. Finished my
fossil collection and I still have a few spares kicking around so give me a
shout if you're looking for anything in particular.

Nobody will bother them there, just like nobody will bother them on the
ground. And they won't rot in the L&F, either.

Hadn't thought of that. I couldn't put a texture there (textures are how I
mark where Redd's tent is gonna be) so you're probably right. Maybe I'll
try it next week.

As for space in L&F, I check it every day. The pitfall seeds go in the
trash and everything else goes to Nook, except in the rare case I find
something I actually want. I'm very diligent about checking now that I
have turnips there; I don't know what'd happen if it filled all the way up,
but it might be expensive finding out!

I found a new way to more quickly drop turnips a couple of weeks ago... drag
them up to the ground beneath your character in the inventory screen.
....Only problem was that I got clumsy with so many turnips and I ended up
eating a load by accident! ...Then I continued to drag & drop and found
myself doing it again!
....It took two times, but now I've learnt my lesson.

That was an expensive lunch. And I don't even like turnips!
