Yah,

saturday : intro screen, story screen and first 'dungeon' generated.
sunday : appearance of the mighty @, dressed to kill.
I realized I had never written a proper event queue, so I now I have
TimedQueue
+--TimeSlice
+--Event
|--Attributes
|--Features

Attributes will contain an agent Object ( usually a monster ) and an
action Object/Method with some parameters. I spent 4 hours on making
this robust and reusable which is way too much, but it's all good.

Cheers,
T.

Yah,

did not a lot except for last night.
Implemented gravity, players fall to their death, monsters and objects
just disappear if they are not supported by something solid.

Did a messagequeue ( and saw on the group I am not the only one ).

This is the one really good thing of 7DRL for me personally; I am
always thinking of cool stuff and trying new stuff but never actually
did some of the basic plumbing. Now I have some quite reusable stuff
for next year even I 'fail'. I will have by saturday noon ( I started
at 12:01 noon ) at least a winning condition, 1 monster and 1 item Wink

Odd,

which OS do you use ?
Normally double clicking in any graphical file browser should
run the application.

Man,
if you get infuriated by this, wait until you see what you spent your
time on Wink

Left arrow and right arrow.

Hmm, what is your configuration ( keyboard , OS , VM ? ).
Could you tell me what is written to the console when you press left or
right key ?

Hmmmmm,

well that's the problem right there,
I assumed an English JVM Wink

Man, that is a bummer.
I dont want to code with those ugly constants,
that's why I wrote a wrapper. Back to the drawing board.
