Here are over 100 reasons why that's not necessarily true:

Under the new pricing scheme, a $60 SHv3 would seem fair.

Wouldn't a Direct-only promo avoid all costly packaging?
If SHv3 was shipped in a Ziploc bag, no one would care.
Just slip in a 'pamphlet' 40k RB and GW brochure. Done.
The SH rules? A downloadable pdf linked in the 40k area.

I can't remember the last time I bothered to buy a WD.
But, I used to, when they still had SH Missions in them.
The Dwarf was actually *useful* for something back then.
New Missions would drive up demand for that rag, also.

Plus, the moulds for the 2nd ed Termis surely still exist.
SH needn't "devalue" any of the current 40k stocks at all -
The new 40mm-based Termis are incompatible with the tiles!
And, aren't there already 4+ versions of plastic Stealers?

Direct Sales' phones would ring right off the hook for SHv3!

Then, think of all the expansion possibilities -
Rok? Tomb? Hive Splinter? Altansar Craftworld? Daemonbarge?
GW needs a better hook than Codecies and Ard Boyz to sell minis.
A return to the Hulk sales model might just be do the trick.

They can release MacRagge expansions too, while they're at it.
Oh, and get someone cracking on 5th Ed Blood Bowl.

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

That's a cool idea. On an unrelated note, a friend of mine got a bunch
of Hirst Arts moulds and made some 3d SH tiles. You can't stick them on
the fridge, but it looks damn impressive.

Chaos. They spread the love for the gods through the universe,
destroying the infidels. Kind of like Catholics, but with cooler wargear.

And let's not get started on Warhammer Quest which cost me GBP40 back
in the day and had a decent sized Orc & goblin force packed within.

And was another fun game to play, too.
