Blanche is still Art Director, so I cut the contractors some slack.
I've come to view stuff like this as "Imperial Propaganda" illos.
That said, I have noticed a disturbing trend toward microcephaly.

And I'm not just talking about the design staff . . .

Possibly, a contractor misunderstood the Heroic Proportion thing.
Then two others based their proportions off of his work.
Then they told two friends, and they told two friends . . .

Now we've got Chapter Master Zippy cropping-up everywhere.
I could do without that, and it gives Citizens the wrong idea. ;- )
They sorta remind me of that old Warhamster illo. X> D

I'm with the feline. That last shot of the Space Marines looks god
awful. They look like refrigerators in an old persons' home... covered
with magnets and newspaper clippings. Also the proportions have gone
from "heroic" to "ridiculous". It would be funny if they weren't
obviously trying to be serious.
