Hi All,
there is currently a guy on Ebay selling a Multi-Cart V2 by S.Kelly
(19019379142). When you look at the list of binarys on the cart one is
called "3D Pole Position (fake)". I asked the guy who was selling,
what this was exactly, but he didn't know because he said he hadn't
the 3d imager.
Any Version 2 Multicart owners out there know what this binary is?

There was a 3D version of PP in development, I always assumed the
binary on the multicart was something to do with that. Admitedly
though I don't think I've ever actually tried it out with the imager...

yes it's a developement,
i try it you don't have a 3D imager to play with it.
i think the difference betwin PP and 3D PP it's a start menu
but nothing in 3D

thats interesting, because the guy selling it said he couldn't test it
because he didn't have the 3d imager - basically 3d games wont play as
they wait to detect the presence of the 3d imager. - So I understood
that he saw a blank screen without any menu.
Anyone out there who can try?

I've got Sean Kellys Multicart and 3D PP starts without 3D Imager,
also with John Maccallan's Imager plugged in nothing changes.
I think just somebody altered the binary and added the letters "3D" to
the startup screen.

Games connecting vectrex - Hey, I remember hearing about a project that was being worked on where there was a connector on the cartridge that allowed you to connect a cable to another cartridge and it allowed you to play against somebody else. I think the game being worked on....

vectrex repair - I have a vectrex unit that I've had since I was a kid. The display shows dots with broken lines on minestorm and any inserted cartridge. I've tried to resolder the 4 pin connector as mentioned by somepeople on this site, no luck. I'm amazed by the depth...

The new Imager? - Poking through vectrexnews I'm still drooling over that new Imager... any word on when/where that will be available, or did I miss it?
