I am in the market for a new computer and am willing to spend about
$300-$400USD on a video card that should work well with FSX. Since this is
a cpu component I know least about, I come on here to ask you experts for
any advice.

Please note that I am willing to spend a little more if the difference may
be substantial. I appreciate any suggestions.

Luke.

I'd suggest you wait until the DX10 cards come out - at present, they're
only DX9, so won't take full advantage of what FSX will have to offer.
Regards,
Steve.

I'm currently running an evga 7900 gt co superclocked.

It comes pre-oc'd (meaning evga warranties it), and it performs
beautifully.

framerates are ~ 75 fps.
