2142 - does *your* kit choice stay after a round?

Hi.

In 2142 the tip repeatedly says summat like "...your customised kit
will be kept for the future...".

Shame it isn't. Even between rounds on the server I find I have to
reselect my choices. After nearly a year I wonder how many times I've
chosen the same items?

Anyone know WHY it won't stay? Does it for you?

Yeah, it's a bit silly that's still prominently mentioned. It'll stay
if the teams aren't automatically swapped at the end of every round.
Thing is, almost all servers do the swap (breaking up squads in the
process, as well), so you end up having to always check your customized
kit at the start of every round on any given server, anyway.
