Basing WWII 15mm - What is your favorite basing for WWII 15mm mini's. Somehow the static grass just doesn't do it for me. What materials and do you find gives the best result? mjc

Depends how fussy you are, with 15s I'm not that fussy. Peter Pig, QRF, SDD,
Skytrex/Old Glory, Quality Castings. Depending on where you are in the world
many of these are much cheaper than BF stuff and do the job just as well.

Peter Pig, vehicles & figures are almost the exactly the same size. QRF &
Old Glory are a bit smaller (QRF stuff less noticeably so), I only use Old
Glory as a last resort. QRF stuff is a reasonable match, but I wouldn't mix
vehicle types in a unit. The infantry match fine.
