Post subject: Myst V reinstallation impossible...

Can anyone help me please?
Myst V has not been uninstalled from my system properly. Instead of using
the Add/Remove Programs procedure in the Control Panel, the complete UbiSoft
folder inside the Programs folder has been deleted manually. Which was
stupid, I know 
When trying to install the program a second time, it gave me an error
message, saying that Install Shield has found a previous installation of
Myst V on my system, which I have to remove first.
I figured it is the registry that prevents a new installation because it
probably still holds some keys that refer to the program. Therefore I tried
to clean it, by using both RegCleaner and Norton's WinDoctor. As far as I
can see that went well: all keys that refered to UbiSoft, Cyan, or Myst have
been removed now.
But still the error message keeps coming back again, and aborts the new
installation.
Do you guys have any suggestions?

....I presume you have re-booted - necessary to read the 'cleaned'
registry...?

If this directory deletion was recent, any chance it's still in the
Recycling Bin?
If you're on WXP or WMe and System Restore is not turned off you may be able
to recover the original installation.

Thanks, but only some folders within the UbiSoft folder inside the Programs
folder can be recovered this way. Not enough to uninstall or play the game
again... and a new installation is still impossible...
