We have the same problem as Irene. We entered the cave at the
waterfalls in the grotto area and worked our way up to a ledge. We
walk along the ledge and find another stream that can be crossed and we
find another cave that seems to need light. We assume we need the
fireflies in this next cave as well. It sounded like maybe Irene found
she didn't need the baskets in the upper stream along the ledge to
cross the stream with the fireflies.
Q1: To get the fireflies across the upper stream along the ledge, do we
need to place the baskets in the stream?
Q2: We have tried to place one basket in the stream, but cannot get it
into the stream without knocking it over the ledge or having the stream
push the basket over the waterfall. If we need one or more baskets in
the stream, how many baskets are needed in the stream, and how do we
position them? We need more than just yes/no,here. Please explain the
trick. >> Stay informed about: Myst Uru: Eder Kemo and Eder Gira, Falls Cave--Possible Sp.. |

The baskets in the upper cave need to be tossed over the waterfall to the
lower pool. You use the one from the lower cave at the narrow point to cross
by the tree (near the linking area). Put the other 2, side by side against
the wall to get into the first cave. No jumping involved until after you get
across and into the first cave. Save the jump for the upper stream.
It takes patience to set up the basket at the first crossing. It won't look
right at first but it will work. Try it without the fireflies first until
you get the right turn on the basket. >> Stay informed about: Myst Uru: Eder Kemo and Eder Gira, Falls Cave--Possible Sp.. |
